EARLY SA DAGGER BY RARER MAKER CLEMEN & JUNG,
Quite a rare and unusual maker, and rated 8/10 on the scarcity scale. CLEMEN & JUNG made some very high quality daggers across the board and all are hard to find. This is a nice earky piece with all nickel fittings to the crossguards and scabbard. A nice lighter wood grip with nickel eagle and perfect SA button. Lower crossguard is Gau marked He. Scabbard has all of the brown anodising and a lot of the protective lacquer over the top. There is an original early short leather hanger with nickel buckle and snap clip. .
Blade is very nice indeed with full crossgrain polish and just a few black surface spots near the trademark. Motto is deep and clear with background colour. The CLEMEN and Jung trademark of a shield within an oval is deeply etched to the reverse riccasso
